What's this blog about? Well, I have this idea... some might say is a bit silly (myself included), but one I enjoy thinking about nonetheless. It is a parody of modern day super hero comics revolving around an office supply theme, starring a hero named "The Stapler".
It all started roughly a decade ago while I was waiting to use the home computer. I had nothing to do and started doodling whatever came to mind while I was playing with my dad's office supplies. I opened up the stapler and was swinging it around like a makeshift weapon when the idea hit me: "What if there was a hero that used a giant one of these as a weapon?" Next thing I knew, I was staring at the first ever picture of The Stapler in all of his glory.
Back then it wasn't fleshed out enough to be its own idea, so I shoehorned it into some other ideas I had been kicking around... but these days I have a dozen or so characters and a general idea of the plot. I plan to use this blog in order to organize my thoughts and hopefully end up actually making the stupid comic. I've tried in the past, and didn't end up getting very far, but here's hoping I can stick with it. If not, I'll have a nice place to come back to and reminisce.
